| You can follow our route on these two maps. We started on the right map near the bottom where it says South Kaibab Trail. We went down South Kaibab trail (up the middle of the right map) and crossed the river by the Gaging Stations. Near the footbridge is where the Phantom Ranch campgrounds were located. We ate lunch just before crossing the river the 2nd time to get to the River Trail. We followed the River Trail (which starts on the right map and goes into the left map). We took the River Trail to Bright Angel and headed up to the top. | |
