First Ultrasound pictures!!!
The first picture shows the ultrasound unaltered... the second one has
pointers to help see what's what. Based on the ultrasound, today is 11
weeks, 4 days which puts the due date at May 27th.

We had our second ultrasound.
Today is 18 weeks 4 days. Amy, Joe, Sarah, Joey, and Amy's parents all
went in hopes of finding out if it's a boy or a girl. And although it
was amazing to see the baby again, we were unable to find out the gender.
But here are a couple pictures of the face.

| Here you can see an arm held up in
front of the face with a fist around the nose area. And another
hand above the head (kind of above the left eye). |

1/2/05 |
Started the baby's nursery room!!
We are blocking off a corner of the master bedroom to create a new bedroom
for the baby. Click here to see our progress. |

1/27/05 |
I had another appt today and got to hear the
heartbeat. I'll be 23 weeks tomorrow but the Dr said I was measuring
(just with the tape measure) around 25 weeks. He started asking how
big me and Joe were at birth (but both of us were average - around 7-6 or
7-8). So he said it could just be a growth spurt. He said based
on the heartbeat rate, he'd guess it was a girl - but he also said that way
is not very accurate so I guess we'll be waiting another 4 weeks till the
next ultrasound to find out boy or girl. |

2/23/05 |
We had our 3rd ultrasound
today... and today the baby cooperated. It's a boy!!! We got to
see good pictures of the face, head, feet, and heart. We even saw that
the baby had some hair already - you could see some peach fuzz on the top of
the head.

Antonino Vincenzo Piscitella!
That's the baby's name. We had already had Antonino picked out for a
boy but then we had the challenge of coming up with a middle name that fit.
We all looked through Italian names on the internet and Sarah and Joe
decided they liked Vincenzo. This poor kid won't be able to spell his
name till he's 10!! J |

I got to see Antonino again.
I had to get a sonogram of my gall bladder but the nurse was really nice and
after she finished looking at all the organs she was supposed look at, she
showed me the baby. You could really see him clearly on her ultrasound
machine. I saw the face, spine, heart, both legs bent at the knee, and both
arms. And we got re-confirmation that he's a boy. |

Joe and Sarah bought Antonino
some new clothes today. They found them at Arizona Mills Mall. He's
got 4 new really cute outfits now!!

Antonino Vincenzo Piscitella is
born on friday June 3 at 6:49pm at Chandler Regional Hospital. See
lots of pictures from birth, with
family, and
baby pictures.
