Our Baby

Gianni Niccolino Piscitella was born at 7:22am on June 19, 2007 at Chandler Regional Hospital, in Chandler Arizona.  Gianni was 7 pounds 9 ounces, 20 inches long, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Update on Gianni
As of 3/20/09, Gianni is 21 months old.  He is starting to talk now and really tries to repeat everything he hears. He definitely knows how to call for Mommy or Daddy when he needs something and even though he doesn't say much he knows how to get his point across and let us know what he wants or needs.  He pushes or pulls us in the direction he wants to go to show you something.  And the mouth never stops - for someone who doesn't talk much yet, he sure has a lot to say :)  He is still sleeping in his crib because he is the best sleeper ever.  You can put him down and just say goodnight and goodbye and you'll never hear a complaint from him the entire night (or entire nap).  And even if he wakes up in the morning he just plays nicely in the crib until we come to get him.  Still totally obsessed with putting things in his mouth (except for food, that is).  Not too interested in eating - even the things he likes (which is limited), he'll only eat a few bites and then is done. Weighs about 23 lbs.  He loves playing with Antonino - the rougher they play the more he likes it.  He is mr destructo.  He just has no grace whatsoever - it's like a tornado coming through stepping on things, tripping on things, throwing, hitting, kicking, banging.  Basketball is definitely his favorite sport.  And he also likes cars and trucks and dart guns.  Has figured out the computer and can use the movie web page all by himself.  Figured out the mouse and how to click and how the mouse wheel works.  I think The Wiggles is his favorite but he seems to click on every movie to check them out - only watches the first few minutes of most before moving on to the next movie.  Likes his baby brother but is way too young and rough to do much with him.  He does try to kiss tommy's head though.
