Pubs we visited in Ireland

Day 1: We arrived at ~11:30 am, got our rental car and drove through Dublin to our hotel, The Conrad.  Amy refused to drive the first since everyone drove on the left side, the streets were narrow, and none of them were named.   We rested for a while and then took a walk over to Trinity College and through Steven's Green.  That night we hung out at Temple Bar (which is a whole area full of pubs and restaurants that is blocked off to any cars so you can walk around the streets).

Day 2: Sunday we got up bright and early to head out for the rest of the weekend (Monday was a bank holiday).  We drove all over the south west part of Ireland.  We took N7 out of Dublin to Limerick.  From Limerick we took N21 to N22 to Kilarney.  Then we drove around the Ring of Kerry and Valentia Island and ended up in Bantry where we stayed the night at the Dunauley Bed and Breakfast.

Day 3: We saw the Bantry house as soon as it opened before we continued on our journey to Mizen Head.  From Mizen Head we followed the South coast to Kinsale.  Then we drove up through Cork and took N8 to Cashel where we saw the rock of Cashel.  We followed N8 to N7 and then back to Dublin.

Day 4: Tuesday Joe had to work so Amy dropped him off and then went sight seeing for the day.  Amy went to Powers Court first and then drove Military Road through the Wicklow Mountains.

Day 5: Amy drove to Kilkenny and toured the castle.  It was a long drive so this took up the majority of the day.  On her way to pick up Joe from work, she stopped at Castletown House for a tour.

Day 6: Amy spent all day Thursday walking around Dublin. There are so many sights to see... castles, churches, Trinity College, the Guinness Brewery, etc.  That night we went to Johnny Fox's where we got to see Ireland dancing and singing!

Day 7: Joe only had to work a 1/2 day so Amy did the Dublin tour (by bus) in the morning and drove up to Intel to get Joe.  We left from Intel and went North to Trim Castle.
