Mandalay Bay![]() We came here 3 times - twice to see the 12,000 gallon fish tank on display in the lobby, and once to visit the Shark Reef. |
The Luxor![]() We walked through the Luxor on the way back from Mandalay Bay. |
New York New York![]() This was one of our favorites! We walked through this casino quite a bit coming and going to other places. It is located right next to the Excalibur where we stayed. On Wednesday night we went to the Nine Fine Irishmen pub and listened to an Irish band and watched the Irish dancers. Then we went to the ESPN Zone bar to catch the end of the Boston/Oakland baseball game - Oakland won in the 12th inning. |
Monte Carlo![]() We just walked through this one. |
The Bellagio![]() We only walked through the Bellagio once but we walked past is quite a few times to see the water shows. We watched two water shows Wednesday night on our way back from dinner at Treasure Island. In between the water shows, Joe gave Amy a beautiful diamond anniversary ring. Then on Thursday we saw another water show from on top the Eiffel Tower at the Paris hotel across the street. |
Caesar's Palace![]() This is another one of our favorites. It is an amazing place. We walked through the casino and the shops. |
The Mirage![]() We came here first to see the fish tank behind the registration desk. But then we came back on Friday to visit Siegfried and Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Exhibit. Joe was feeling lucky again so we played Poker. He got 4 Queens on the first hand and won 40 quarters. |
Treasure Island![]() This was the last hotel and casino we saw on Wednesday. We ate at their buffet for dinner which was excellent and then went back to our hotel to rest for a little while before going out for the night. |
MGM Grand![]() We walked through this hotel and casino on Thursday morning. They had a Rainforest cafe which had 4 fish tanks, a white striped tiger display, and a lion display. Every time we walked by the white tiger was sitting up on his ledge looking at all of us. The lion display had a walkway through the exhibit and we stood directly underneath two sleeping female lions. |
The Aladdin![]() The amazing part about this hotel/casino was the shopping center attached - the Desert Passageway. It was a huge circle of shops and each section was decorated as an old city. |
Paris![]() This one was decorated just like Paris on the inside. The ceiling was painted in clouds to look like outside (similar to a lot of other hotels). We took an elevator to the top of the Eiffel Tower - which is a half scale replica of the real one in France. |
Bally's![]() This was another one that we just walked through to see it. |
The Venetian![]() The Venetian is decorated just like Venice with waterways and gondolas and singing gondoliers. |
Barbary Coast![]() This is a smaller casino - we came in Friday afternoon after having lunch at the October Fest just outside. We say down at a Deuces Wild Poker game and didn't quite know how to play. We thought is was a quarter game but it wanted us to put in $1.25 - so we both played one game. Joe got a Royal Straight Flush (with 3 deuces) and won 100 quarters! |
