Our Baby

Tomassino Alessandro Piscitella was born at 6:02pm on November 3, 2008 at Banner Desert Hospital, in Mesa Arizona.  Tomassino was 6 pounds 9 ounces, 20 inches long, with black hair and blue eyes.

Update on Tommy

As of 5/3/09 he is 6 months old.  He is sitting up on his own and stays up most the time :)  He does still tip over to the side or backwards at times.  He is sooo easy to make laugh - he just wants the attention.  If he can get someone to look at him or talk to him, he smiles.  But on the flip-side - he never wants to be put down or left alone.  As he gets older he's getting slightly better about that - but he still just wants to be with someone at all times.  He takes very short naps and only just recently is getting used to being left in his crib.  He's still sleeping in a pack-n-play in our bedroom though since we don't have a room or an extra crib for him.  He loves watching Antonino - he cracks up laughing when Antonino jumps around in front of him (and of course Antonino loves the audience so he's more than happy to oblige).  He's an eater!  He eats almost anything I give him - the only one he hasn't liked yet is the peas.  But he even switched to a bottle with no issue - cold, in a bottle, and formula - and he didn't even blink - just grabbed the bottle and tried his hardest!  Gets mad when you eat in front of him and don't share.  Grabs and puts in his own mouth stuff like carrots or celery.  Has tried puffs and some veggie things that dissolve in his mouth.  He's definitely more than happy to try anything.  Very close to crawling - goes in circles and pushes backwards but can't seem to move himself forward.  Gets up on his knees though and is rocking so he'll figure it out soon enough.
