Tortilla Flats & Canyon Lake
| We drove up to Tortilla Flats. It is a beautiful drive east of Phoenix up through the mountains. We stopped in the restaurant to check it out and then walked over to the ice cream shop for some Prickly Pear Ice Cream. Afterwards we drove about a mile up the road to a beach access on Canyon Lake. There was no one else there so we took off our shoes and went in the water with Cameron. Cameron got a little more than her feet wet but she had a blast being tosses and spun in the water... she's definitely a water baby. | |
